John Deere in the US have approved Puradyn filters as a solution in hard working environments. After extensive testing they have seen that fitting a Puradyn filter greatly benefits engine oil quality and engine life. Puradyn filters are now sold by john Deere as an optional extra and hence benefit from full factory warranty with John Deere. See the official John Deere brochure.

Stretching the boundaries with 3000 hours on the same oil. FSL have been working with a well known generator hire company to provide 1000 hour servicing. However in this example we have taken the oil to 3000 hours. The laboratory are still reporting the oil fit for further use at this point in time. The engine in question is a Kubota DF752 petrol converted to run on gas. The generator is powering a telecom's mast 24/7. Hardly testing conditions you may say, but an engine running on light loads tend to produce more harmful by-products than an engine running on for example 50% load. This is by no means the end of this story, we'll keep you posted as the hours clock up.
